I first met Kristen Cramer at an amazing craft show called Homespun that was held in a giant orchid greenhouse here in Santa Barbara. I was taken with her organic pottery and her obvious love for her craft. I left with her card and a small pot for one of my many plants.
Fast forward several months and I learned through Instagram that Kristen would be opening a shop in beautiful Santa Ynez. The shop is truly an art collective with pottery, linens, furniture, lighting, jewelry, art, and gifts. I rarely leave empty handed!
I have Kristen’s pots, vases, and other vessels scattered about The Little Glass House…
But my favorite and most recent purchase is a stunning small lamp that now sits on my kitchen counter. Kristen just recently began to make lamps and I think they are perfection, from the linen shade to the touch of brass! Even the cord is pretty!
If you are local to the Santa Barbara area, I highly recommend a visit to this unique shop. There are also workshops, such as an upcoming wheel throwing class and a ceramic jewelry making class. If you aren’t nearby, take heart. You can shop from Global Eye Art Collective’s website and online store!

Hand made pottery has a very special feel to it, it’s more tactile and personal. I love all the little vases and that lamp, so beautiful! Thanks for sharing! xo, Eva
I agree, Eva. There’s something so organic about pottery. I love how she just kept at it through frustration and tears to create something beautiful! 🙂
Will be sure to visit next month will in SB. Any other suggestions while I am near g/e??
Hi Wendy. Nothing specific but just explore the cute little town. Also check out Los Olivos. Lunch at the Wine Merchant. 😉
