I still love Christmas as much as I did as a child. I love the way it smells of cookies and pine needles. I love the taste of eggnog and wassail (and of course the cookies too). I love the sparkle and magic of the decorations. I love the carols and music, which I start playing the day after Thanksgiving. I love our Christmas traditions and starting new ones here in California. But most of all, I love spending time with family and friends and making new memories….

It’s tradition to watch It’s a Wonderful life….even if it takes us two nights to do it!

My dad and I enjoying Christmas morning. So happy to have my parents, hubby and daughter here this year!
New pillow from Mom and Dad? Excellent. The house looks so festive and pretty. Our DVD of It’s A Wonderful Life went missing so I must go out and buy another. Where did you get those hanging snowflakes?
I’ve collected the snowflakes from lots of different places. They’re just ornaments. 😊
