Instagram has become my favorite social media tool by far. I have “met” some of the most creative and genuinely kind people through this medium. I thought it would be fun on the last Thursday of the month, to share 3 accounts that not only inspire, but embody the creative beauty of their owners.
One of the very first accounts I followed was Michelle Janeen . Michelle is a talented designer and mom whose SoCal home is beautiful eye candy. She is also one of the nicest ladies you will come across on IG. Take a gander at her gorgeous home…
Jennifer, of the ranch uncommon is a stylist living in a 1959 post and beam California ranch house, 40 miles outside of LA. She also runs an online shop by the same name chock full of her beautiful finds. One only has to look at her unique home and the way she has styled it, to be encouraged to check out her website. I know you will fall in love with her one of a kind home…
This last Instagrammer’s bright, cheery abode, just steps from the beach, is a place you can actually stay! Tiffany renovated a dilapidated 1970’s A-frame and transformed it into The Beach Lodge…a colorful, totally hip California beach home that has sunny vibes no matter what the weather…
For more gorgeous inspiration, follow the links to their Instagram accounts. More information can be found in their profiles. Happy scrolling!
I really like all of those homes. Do you think it is a trend to paint brick and woodwork white? I like the look, and I have a “dated” brick fireplace that I’ve been thinking of painting white. But I’m terrified because it can’t be reversed.
Hi Kathy! As someone who has painted her fireplace brick white, I’m not sure it is a trend. In my humble opinion, white will always be a classic. I understand the fear of not being able to change it but I honestly think you will not regret it! I say go for it! 🙂
Thank-you Elizabeth for the hours of entertainment you sent to us today. Eye candy personified!
You are so welcome, Karen. I’m thinking of making this a regular feature once a month. There are so many inspiring beautiful accounts!
I follow Jennifer too, her home is amazing! My favorite part is that she gets to redecorate with her pretty finds and we get to see it. I applaud her for her strength, though…I couldn’t part with any of those pretties, so I’d have a serious problem!!! :)))
I love how often Jennifer changes it up too and it is a small space! She has great style.
Just discovered your site….got caught in the pinterest rabbit hole [ ha ha]. Beautiful work…love your clean minimalist style!
Thank you so much Sherry for taking the time to comment. I’ve been lost myself in the Pinterest rabbit hole! Have a great rest of your Sunday.
